Intra-Oral 3D Scanner

At the WOC, we always endeavour to provide our clients with the latest and most up-to-date scientifically proven orthodontic treatment. Part of this process involves keeping up with the latest technological advances in the industry. We were the first orthodontic clinic to own a 3D scanner in the Waikato region, a very advanced and sophisticated device.

This new scanner helps us to cope with our ever-increasing patient base and services. The scanner has already phased out the need for the "gooey Play-Doh" impressions that can be quite a mouthful. It significantly speeds up and simplifies the Invisalign treatment process - we simply take a full-mouth 3D scan instead of taking an impression. The scans also replace most  impressions needed for lab work such as those for plates and other appliances.
